original art My paintings always reveal a double truth: the one we all see, and the one that hides beneath the surface—often uncomfortable, often ignored. Through the use of red and blue optical filters, I invite the viewer to shift their perspective and uncover what lies beyond the obvious.
This technique was born almost by chance, while I was working as an art director in a nightclub. One night, I noticed how the changing lights on the dance floor made the flyer graphics shift and transform.
That moment stuck with me.
Since 2012, I’ve pursued an ongoing visual experiment—blending filters, layers, and meaning—until I developed a painting style capable of hiding and revealing, seducing and disturbing, captivating and provoking thought.
I often work with iconic figures, turning their public image inside out. The Statue of Liberty becomes a riot cop with a raised baton. Queen Marie Antoinette splits into a child eating a brioche. Playing cards turn into a young, modern Romeo and Juliet. These contrasts are not just visual—they are questions
My paintings are created entirely with oil on canvas, using refined, natural pigments that give the surface depth, richness, and intensity. This traditional medium meets a contemporary concept: an optical illusion that reveals hidden images through the use of colored filters.
Each layer is painted by hand with precision and patience, building a visual tension that changes with the viewer’s gaze.
It’s not just technique—it’s alchemy.
Art, to me, is a tool for awareness. I don’t aim to merely impress—I want to challenge the viewer to look beyond the first impression, to question what is hidden in plain sight, to shift their lens and unlock new meaning.
Since 2016, I’ve been exhibiting consistently in art fairs and shows—but my work began long before, away from trends or spotlights. Every painting is the result of years of trial, experimentation, and refinement.
This is not a borrowed style. It’s a language I built from the ground up
